Samsung Galaxy Nexus Android 4.0(The Big Change of the Mobail World)

When I first unpacked this device, I realized it had been a long time since I had tried out the Verizon version and I forgot how big this thing is. True, it's not really any larger than some of the other high-end phones like the Galaxy S II, but it still has a formiddable footprint. Fortunately, that footprint doesn't extend into thickness or weight, both of which are extremely reasonable, particularly given the large capacity battery.

Having had my hands on both of them now, I can say that, functionally speaking, there's very little difference between the Sprint and Verizon versions of the Galaxy Nexus. They sport more or less identical specs, starting with a design-dominating display. In fact, the screen is almost the only physically remarkable thing about the phone; with nearly no other buttons or external features, the display is the center of your Galaxy Nexus experience.

The Future Of Human-Electronic Skin Technology

Merging biology and electronics gives access to a new and upcoming technology. This has led to the development of a super thin and highly flexible material like a tattoo, embedded with a wireless electronic chip to be stuck on human skin. It’s applications are many, from monitoring health to even sending commands to human-machine interfaces like video games. The newly developed material/device is easily removable, as easily it’s stuck on the skin surface.
The device is designed to easily blend in with the mechanics of the human skin, where it can resist the natural vigor of twists, turns and stretches of the human skin, yet maintaining the functionality of the wireless circuitry. The research is being led by John A. Rogers, the Lee J. Flory-Founder professor of engineering at the University of Illinois.

Nokia Pureview 808(41 MP Camera)

Although it may not have been the very best idea to have introduced this device with their ‘not-faring-too-well’ Belle OS, at the moment WP7 is nowhere near to having the capabilities to offer the kind of goodies this handset will feature. First off, the 1.3HGz processor should be more than adequate to run things smoothly, Nokia bringing back the Xenon flash to mobile cameras is definitely a good thing with Carl Zeiss optics for this fascinating camera phone and the resolution prescribed, we’re expecting image quality to be off the charts. The all new camera tech installed into this handset, includes 3x lossless digital amongst an array of other handy features. Nokia has pretty much loaded up the 808 with as much functionality as possible, and we’re very curious to see just how it all works out.

The Pureview 808 will come with -

    a 4.0-inch capacitive touchscreen with a 360 x 640 pixel resolution
3G, EDGE, Wi-Fi with DLNA support
    Bluetooth 3.0 with A2DP, USB 2.0 with USB-on-the-go
    GPS with A-GPS Support
41MP AF camera with 1080p video recording and a Xenon flash
    Secondary VGA Camera
FM radio with an FM transmitter
16GB internal memory plus microSD card support up to 32GB
    HDMI out

The 2012 BMW 5-Series

The 2012 BMW 5-Series lineup expands to include a new high-performance M5 model. Base versions of this premium-midsize car also get a new 4-cylinder engine. The 5-Series comes as a 4-door sedan. Also offered is a 4-door hatchback body style called the BMW 5-Series Gran Turismo (see separate report). The new-for-2012 M5 is rear-wheel drive and powered by a 560-horsepower turbocharged 4.4-liter V8 engine derived from the M versions of the BMW X5 and BMW X6 SUVs. The M's sole transmission is a 7-speed dual-clutch automated manual that behaves much like an automatic. Also standard are an electronically adjustable performance suspension, high-performance brakes, and a head-up instrument display. Returning for 2012 are the 528i, 535i, and 550i models, all of which were redesigned for the 2011 model year. The entry-level 528i has a new 240-horsepower 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine. This replaces the 2011 528i's 230-horsepower 3.0-liter inline 6-cylinder. The 535i has a 300-horsepower turbocharged 3.0-liter inline 6-cylinder. The 550i has a 400-horsepower turbocharged 4.4-liter V8. All 5-Series cars are available with rear-wheel drive or BMW's xDrive all-wheel drive. Rear-drive 535i and 550i models have a 6-speed manual transmission. An 8-speed automatic transmission is optional on those cars and standard on the 528i and all AWD versions. Safety features include ABS, traction control, antiskid system, curtain-side airbags, and front-side airbags. Blind-spot alert, lane-departure warning, a night-vision camera, and a top-view camera are also available, as is parking assist. BMW's optional Dynamic Damping Control adjustable suspension allows the driver to alter powertrain settings. Also optional is BMW's Integral Active Steering, which electronically alters steering response; it can also steer the rear wheels depending on driving conditions. A power tilt and telescopic steering wheel and 10-way power front seats are standard. Among the other available features are a navigation system and head-up display. Previously optional, leather upholstery is now standard on the 535i.
